  • Tiger Woods emotional when he returns to TGL after his mother’s death | Angelo

Palm Beach Gardens – The return of Tiger Woods to the competition golf course highlighted raw emotions on Tuesday evening.

Tiger thought of his mother, Kultida Woods, when he went to the Sofi Center. Three weeks ago, Kultida, was in the stands to watch her son play his second TGL match.

It would be the last time that Kultida would see her son playing golf playing. A week later, Tiger announced on social networks that his mother had died. She was 78 years old.

“I had a lot of trouble getting here, then reliving all the moments we had, my mother, how excited she was that Charlie drives her here,” said Tiger about her son.

“So these are great moments and great memories. It was a difficult process.”

The last time Tiger played golf was with President Donald Trump five days after the death of his mother.

Tiger said he was comforted by the support of his teammates Jupiter Links, Kevin Kisner and Tom Kim. Everyone hugged him when they saw him and during the match, they wore a special red pin on their hats to honor their mother.

The pin presents the Thai symbol for love and pays tribute to Kultida’s belief that red was Tiger’s power color.

Tiger, who, with Rory Mcilroy, helped to create TGL, withdrew from the Genesis Invititational last week, saying that he was too early to play after losing his mother, even if he is the host of tournament and that its foundation is the beneficiary.

Tiger Woods wears an pinning pinning her deceased mother Kultida, who died two weeks ago. On Tuesday, he returned to the competition golf course for the first time since his death.

“I think she really liked to watch me play,” said Tiger after Jupiter abandoned her match at the New York Golf Club, 10-3. “It was great to have it in the stands and watch us play and have children here and family and friends. It was a great moment. I really appreciate it to be here.”

The night seemed to be an outing for Tiger, who spent much of the laughing match of the absurdity of the way things happened for him and his team.

Jupiter has been out of the Sofi center from the first hole. New York, with Cameron Young, Rickie Fowler and Matt Fitzpatrick, won eight of the first nine holes to take an 8-0 lead.

“ One of the most embarrassing things ” to get to Tiger

It is a comedy of errors for Jupiter which has become a viral moment on the 13th hole when Tiger struck a corner when he had 199 yards in the hole.

“It was one of the most embarrassing things that happened,” said Tiger, laughing after the match. “I can’t believe it has just happened.”

As for the blow. He nailed it .. if it was really 99 yards.

“I hit him 100 meters,” he said.

Kim and Kisner were confused when they saw Tiger swing.

“What are you doing?” Said Kim. “It’s 199,” added Kisner.

“You said 99,” said Tiger. “You said 99.”

This moment came 10 holes after Tiger, Kim and Kisner spent several minutes looking for a ball brand, which they learned later in Kisner’s pocket all the time.

As for golf, it was not much better. Tiger started by missing a 5 -foot putt for the peer and a tie.

And it got worse from there.

On the second hole, he left the ball in the bunker, a shot that cost Jupiter two points after New York launched the hammer.

On n ° 4, its reader derived on the left, on the left, in any grass displayed on the virtual screen.

    So and so on.

Tiger had a highest point, dropping an 8 -foot putt to defeat Young in simple.

But that was not what Jupiter thought when the three players arrived in the media center after the match.

“Can you talk about what you’ve learned about today’s match,” they asked.

The three players burst out laughing.

  • Will Simone Biles participate in the 2028 summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles? What she says

This is the question that fans cannot stop asking: Will Simone Biles return to the Olympic Games in 2028?

Biles won four additional medals at the 2024 summer Olympic Games in Paris, increasing her total number of Olympic medals to 11, well enough to make her the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history.

So, will she try to add to her inheritance by hitting the carpet again when the summer matches take place in Los Angeles in 2028? What circumstances should be in place for this to happen?

“Life and death,” she told Sports Illustrated in her interview for having named her athlete of the year. “Because I have done so many things, there is almost nothing left to do, rather than just being snobbone and trying again and for what?” I am at a time in my career when I am humble enough to know when to have finished.

Biles, which is married to the safety of Chicago bears, Jonathan Owens, thinks that enough can be sufficient in this case.

“If you come back, you will be greedy. These are the consequences, ”she said. “But it is also your decision to decide. What sacrifices would be made if I went back now? When you are younger, it’s like, ball, college. Now it’s like, starting a family, being far from my husband. What is really worth it?

The sporting functionality of the Sports Year illustrated on Biles stresses that it does not know the answer to this question at the moment.

Biles may be the most successful gymnast in history, but she cannot understand everything she has accomplished.

“I don’t think reality has established what I did exactly in sport,” she said. “I can see it, and I hear it people, and I see an overview, but full amplitude, I don’t think I realized. I don’t think I will realize until I retire and look back in a few years like, damn, she was good. Because I can see it, but I do it every day. So for me, it’s normal.

What Simone Biles said to Hoda Kotb

After her Olympic race last August, Biles spoke live today with Hoda Kotb of her future in sport and if she plans to participate in the following summer matches.

“You know, you never say. The next Olympic Games are on the lawn at home. So you never know, ”she said. “I’m just going to relax and see where life leads me.”

Biles said so much after bringing back a gold in the individual final of the safe on August 3.

“Never say never,” said Biles at a press conference. “The next Olympic Games are at home. So you never know. I really get older.

Although almost everyone who watched the Olympic Games are impatient to see what awaits biles on the line, the gymnast also spoke to share its reflections on demand.

Biles said in August 4: “You really have to stop asking athletes what is the continuation after winning a medal at the Olympic Games.”

“Let us enjoy the moment we have worked on our whole lives,” she added.

Between the Janeiro Rio Games, 2020 Tokyo and 2024 Paris, Biles accumulated 11 Olympic medals, including seven.

In Paris, Biles managed a record race, becoming the most decorated American Olympic gymnast of all time after Team USA won gold in the final team on July 30. The star athlete again won gold in the final of August 1 and the final jump August 3.

All eyes were on the gymnast after having removed the Tokyo Olympic Games which were held in 2021, quoting “Twisties”, a mental phenomenon which affects the capacity of a gymnast to perceive where it is in the air.

Since the unexpected withdrawal of biles of events during these summer games, she has been opened on her mental health difficulties and has attributed therapy with her return.

“Doing something that I did forever and that I just can’t do it because of everything I experienced is really crazy because I love this sport so much,” said Biles today in October 2021.

“It’s difficult. I’m sorry. And I don’t think people understand the extent of what I go through, but for so many years to go through everything I have experienced, I am proud of myself.

  • US Open: Carlos Alcaraz overcomes the 2nd set in pursuit of the third consecutive Grand Slam

Carlos Alcaraz tries to recover his world title n ° 1. (Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY SPORTS)

His first opponent was more feist than expected, but Carlos Alcaraz is offbeat and short at the US Open.

The world No. 3 beat the Australian qualifier Li Tu 6-2, 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 in the first round at Flushing Meadows on Tuesday. He will face Botic Van de Zandschulp in the second round Thursday, after the Dutch Dispatch from Denis Shapovalov Tuesday.

Alcaraz seemed to be on the right track for a standard eruption of the first round, but you then showed a shape for which the Spaniard was not exactly ready. You promised that he would try to give Alcaraz “three, four, five hellish sets” before the match and found this form in the second set.

You stayed in service against Alcaraz for part of the third set, but the disparity of the talents was ultimately too much to overcome. You are the first opening opponent to take an Alcaraz decor in a large home since 2022 Wimbledon. Alcaraz did not help his cause with 18 uncomposed mistakes overall.

You stayed in service against Alcaraz for a part of the third set, but all it took is that Alcaraz found his feet to transform a potential upheaval into a laugh. He has won the next nine games to stifle the threat.

Alcaraz is in competition to win his third large consecutive chelem after taking the French open and Wimbledon earlier this year. Another title of this year would also be the fifth slam in the 21-year-old career and a return to the New York summit after losing Daniil Medvedev in the semi-finals last year.

The draw in Alcaraz against Medvedev or Jannik Sinner in the semi-finals, except a major upheaval, Novak Djokovic waiting on the other side of the support. The three potential opponents represent intriguing clashes: Medvedev for a revenge match last year, a sinner as a new world n ° 1 and the only other man to win a slam this year, Djokovic for a revenge match of the loss of Alcaraz in the Olympic gold medal match earlier this month.

But first, Alcaraz must get there, just like the rest. Djokovic ran predictable in the first round on Monday, while Medvedev and Sinner both abandoned sets against adversaries not rescued on Tuesday.

The sinner in particular entered the tournament under a cloud of controversy after having tested twice positive for an anabolic steroid prohibited earlier this year and avoiding suspension. This could have been the cause of a slow start against Mackenzie McDonald in a 2-6, 6-2, 6-1, 6-1 victory.

    Why was Fred Kerley stopped?

The altercation between Kerley and the police took place in a commercial area in southern Miami Beach, a few pâtés de l’eau.

In a written police report, the police described Kerley as having “aggressive behavior” when he approached the perimeter of an independent police scene, apparently on the way to his car, which was parked nearby. The police alleged that Kerley “tried to make their way through” two officers despite their requests to bypass the region. An officer then raised his left hand and contacted Kerley, who broke out him.

In the altercation that followed, the police wrote in their report that four police officers tried to place Kerley in detention when he used “evasive movements to avoid being stopped”. She said he had then returned the phone but was not at home when the police arrived.

Miami-Dade county police accused Kerley of skilled flight and domestic battery, but a spokesman said he could not locate him and stop him until he was arrested in The Miami Beach affair Thursday evening. Kerley’s lawyer said he was to appear before a judge in the national case on Saturday.

“These new charges arise from a falsified accusation that resurfaced because of this new attention from the new media of the unjustified arrest last night,” Cooper said in a statement.

An American athletic spokesman refused to comment on Kerley’s arrest, but said that the organization was not aware of the household battery charge before its participation in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games last summer .

Calciomercato Reports that Vlahović, whose contract with Juventus expires on June 30, 2026, is in a delicate situation.

Negotiations for an extension are stopped, and he could even consider seeing his contract without renewing. This is a scenario that Juventus absolutely cannot afford, which means that n ° 9 will be put on the market from June.

Beyond the transfer fees – where Juventus could be satisfied with a relatively modest amount (at most 40 million euros) – the main concern of the club is to unload the heavy salary of Vlahović a year before the expiration of his contract.

As a team, Florida State dominated during the final round, pulling 15-273 to come from behind and beat the Alabama by nine shots. Michael Mays and Tyler Weaver equaled equal sixth to 5 sous, and Weaver equaled Clanton with a 5-mine of 67 during the last round.
