A recruit from the Ryder Cup Espechante moved to the top six of the American points after another solid performance on the PGA Tour.
Maverick McNealy closed 8-mine of 64 Sunday in Torrey Pines to finish second place at Genesis Invitational. McNealy now has three T-9 or Better finishes this season, including a T-9 two weeks ago in Phoenix, while jumping in the seventh in the points of Fedexcup-and the fifth of the points of the American Ryder Cup.
McNealy, which has increased eight places, is joined by five players with a previous experience Ryder Cup – N ° 1 Scottie Scheffler, n ° 2 Xander Schauffele, n ° 3 Bryson Dechambeau, n ° 4 Collin Morikawa and n ° 6 Patrick Cantlay.
Tony Finau is seventh, followed by Russell Henley, Brian Harman and Billy out of chencing. Justin Thomas is n ° 12, Max Homa is n ° 21, Jordan Spieth is n ° 40 and Brooks Koepka is n ° 57.
McNealy was twice Walker Cupper, including in 2017 when he went 4-0 with Morikawa and Doug Ghim. He pierced for his first PGA Tour title at the RSM Classic last fall.
