Chivu replaces Pecchia in Parma
Pecchia, who brought Parma to the promotion by winning the title of Serie B in 2023-24, was officially relieved of his duties Monday evening after a series of four consecutive defeats in Serie A.
The team did not win in the league this calendar year, with its last victory for 10 players Monza on December 28.
Parma is currently in 18th place in the Serie A table with a count of 20 points after 25 games, which means that Chivu still has 13 games to keep the ship away from the relegation.
